Work Plan for Registration of Conventional Pesticides

FY2003 New Chemical Registration Candidates

The Registration Division's FY2003 Work Plan identifies 19 new chemical candidates for decision-making during the fiscal year. From these 19 candidates, the Agency anticipates making 12 registration decisions. Five (5) of these chemicals have twenty nine (29) associated uses classified as "reduced-risk" (66KB, PDF). Four (4) of these chemicals have seven (7) associated uses classified as organophosphate alternatives.

The work plan includes more candidates than anticipated actual decisions. It serves as a candidate pool for achieving the registration program's regulatory goals for the fiscal year and has historically included more decision candidates than anticipated completions to ensure that the Agency's regulatory goals are met.
