SUB-GROUPS
Food and Feed Commodity Vocabulary
US EPA Office of Pesticides

Terms used as of March 2005

EPA's Office of Pesticide Programs (OPP) established a uniform presentation
of commodity terms under 40 CFR part 180 entitled Food and Feed
Commodity Vocabulary. The data base was developed to consolidate
all the major OPP commodity vocabularies into one standardized vocabulary.
As a result, all future pesticide tolerances issued under 40 CFR part 180 will
use these terms.

The FAN Pesticide Project presents these commodity terms by Groups and by
Subgroups (listed below).

See EPA's Food and Commodity Vocabulary site.

The list of Final Rules that revised the terminology are:
June 19, 2002 [OPP-2002-0043; FRL-6835-2]
June 21, 2002 [OPP-2002-0043; FRL-7180-1]
July 1, 2003, [OPP-2002-0043; FRL-7308-9]
