Requests to voluntarily cancel certain pesticide registrations. EPA is issuing a notice of receipt of request by registrants to voluntarily cancel certain pesticide registrations. Unless a request is withdrawn by October 13, 2003, or May 16, 2003 for EPA Registration Numbers: 003008-00021, 075341-00001, and 075341-00007, orders will be issued canceling these registrations.

AVENTIS - Pesticde Tolerances. - FINAL RULE. This regulation establishes tolerances for residues of the fungicide and metabolites converted to 2- (trifluoromethyl) benzoic acid, calculated as flutolanil in or on rice grain, rice straw, rice hulls, rice bran, potatoes, and potato, wet peel.

AGR EVO - Pesticide Tolerance. - FINAL RULE. This regulation establishes time-limited tolerances, to expire on December 31, 2000, for residues of the fungicide flutolanil and its metabolites converted to 2-(trifluoromethyl)benzoic acid and calculated as flutolanil in or on the raw agricultural commodities rice grain at 2.ppm and rice straw at 8 ppm and in or on the processed food or feed commodities rice hulls at 7 ppm and rice bran at 3 ppm when present therein as a result of application of the fungicide to growing crops.

This rule establishes tolerances for combined residues of flutolanil (N-(3-(1-methylethoxy)phenyl)-2-(trifluoromethyl)benzamide) and its metabolites converted to 2-(trifluoromethyl) benzoic acid and calculated as flutolanil in or on peanut nutmeats at 0.5 ppm, peanut hulls at 5.0 ppm, peanut hay at 15.0 ppm, meat, meat byproducts (mbyp) and milk of cattle, goats, hogs, horses, and sheep at 0.05 ppm, fat of cattle, goats, hogs, horses, and sheep at 0.10 ppm, liver of cattle, goats, hogs, horses, and sheep at 2.0 ppm, kidney of cattle, goats, hogs, horses, and sheep at 1.0 ppm, and poultry (including turkeys) meat, mbyp, fat, and eggs at 0.05 ppm; and in or on the processed food commodity peanut meal at 1.0 ppm when present therein as a result of application of the fungicide to growing crops.

AGR EVO - Establishment of Temporary Tolerances for residues of the fungicide flutolanil (N-[3-(1- Methylethoxy)phenyl)-2-(trifluoromethyl)benzamide) in or on the raw agricultural commodities rice (whole grain) and rice straw at 7.0 ppm, rice hulls at 25.0 ppm, and rice bran at 10.0 ppm; peanut nutmeats at 0.4 ppm, peanut hulls at 13.0 ppm, peanut meal at 1.0 ppm and peanut soapstock at 1.0 ppm. These temporary tolerances will permit the marketing of the above raw agricultural commodities when treated in accordance with the provisions of the experimental use permits 45639-EUP-48 and 45639-EUP-50, which are being issued under the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act [[Page 27507]] (FIFRA), as amended (Pub. L. 95-396, 92 Stat. 819; 7 U.S.C. 136).

NOR-AM CHEMICAL CO. - --FAP 3H5658 --proposes to amend 40 CFR part 185 by establishing a food additive regulation to permit residues of flutolanil and its metabolites converted to 2-trifluoromethyl benzoic acid methyl ester in the following processed food commodities when present therein as a result of application of the fungicide to growing crops, in or on polished (hulled) rice at 0.50 ppm, rice hulls at 7.0 ppm, rice bran at 2.0 ppm, and grain dust (rice) at 10.0 ppm.
