This material has been used as an acaricide and insecticide
(Farm Chemicals Handbook 1984, p. C-133). Its
main use was as a dormant spray for orchard fruit.
It is no longer made (Buchel
1983, p. 177). Not registered as a pesticide in the U.S. (USEPA/Pesticide
Index 1985).
