It appears the Town of Taber will be removing fluoride from it’s drinking water.

Fluoride could be out of Taber’s drinking water as soon as September. At Monday’s regular meeting, Town Council gave third and final reading to a bylaw repealing fluoridation. Taber Mayor Ray Bryant says it’s now in the hands of Alberta Environment. He tells CJOC News there will be a 30 day public notice period for anyone that wishes to appeal and after that Alberta Environment will review all the feedback and make a decision. Taber Town Council voted 4-3 in favour of removing fluoride from the water. Council had requested feedback from Taber residents through a survey and things like Facebook.
