Submission to:
National Research Council Committee:
Toxicologic Risk of Fluoride in Drinking Water; BEST-K-02-05-A
Dear Susan,
Please email this submission to the Committee members. I believe
that they should be apprised of the following documents posted at
the website of The Environmental Working Group, as it has some relevance
to the submission Dr. Chester Douglass gave to the Committee in
January 2004.
1) June 27, 2005: EWG Ethics Complaint to NIEHS re: Dr. Chester
Douglass

2) June 23, 2005 - EWG letter to Chester Douglass

20050627/pdf/douglass_letter.pdf
3) Undated (EWG estimates it was about 2003) - Dr. Douglass’
Final Grant Report to NIEHS

4) June 6, 2005 - EWG Petition to National Toxicology Program

To ensure that these documents are formally entered into the Committee
records, would you be good enough to send each member a hard copy
of each file?
Finally, it is our understanding that Dr. Douglass has been in
communication with Dr. Judith Klotz, a member of the NRC panel.
We request that any communications or documents between Dr. Douglass
and Dr. Klotz be shared with the rest of the panel and be made available
to the Fluoride Action Network and the public. This is especially
important in light of the investigation being launched by Harvard
University into this matter. (Boston Herald, June 29, 2005. Harvard
launches probe in dental research flap. Original article: http://news.bostonherald.com/localRegional/view.bg?articleid=92027
